Our next destination is Sungai Congkak (Congkak River). It is one of the eco tourism attraction in Selangor, the Sungai Congkak Recreational Forest is an ideal spot for a back-to-nature, green escapade. Sungai Congkak (Congkak River) offers you cool crystal-clear waters, roaring rapids and natural pools of water, surrounded by lush and serene Lowland Dipterocarp Forest.
Don't worry, this place provides public facilities such as camping ground, picnic spots, chalets, rest shelters, public toilets and parking space. Just pay RM1 each per entry! So cheap, right?
This recreational park, with its rivers set amidst lush unspoiled forest, is a great weekend getaway and a popular picnic spot among the locals. We had a splendid time by picniking near the river. The delightfully tranquil surroundings make Sungai Congkak a rewarding destination for the city slicker like us.
I grab the chance to shoot a lots of beautiful sceneries photos with my wife as the model. I really enjoy taking pictures with my sniper Casio Exilim digital camera as photography is one of my part time hobbies...*CHEESE*
